Decorations with donut inspiration
Let’s start the party with some sweet decorations! A quick, easy way to add an instant “donut flavor” are with a few colorful donut inflatables and donut lanterns. You can decorate the inflatables in so many ways – string them over the dessert table (as below), place around the room or attach to the chairs for a cute party display.
Not only do the donut inflatables add fun to the decor, they can also be used for photo props for your little one and party guests.
Donut theme welcome banners
Welcome banners are another great way to add a big color splash to your party decorations. Why not add a cute donut shop banner with the birthday girl’s name front and center? Although these three shown below are for a first birthday, you can easily change them to any other age.

A cute donut display board surrounded by balloons and flowers is another easy-to-do eye catching decoration. You can get a pre-made one online or just find a lightweight board or heavy cardboard, add some small dowels (from your local hardware store) and secure. Then decorate with colorful donuts and a fun saying.
To add some fun party decorations, check out these cute donut theme straws. They come in a variety of colors too – pink and cream shown below.
