3-Tier Nursing Cake
The details on this 3 tiered nurse themed cake is amazing! There’s a complete tutorial on www.pettinice.com on how to create the stunning nurse hat on the top layer. The middle tier shows the heart rhythm pattern with a syringe and stethoscope decorating the lower tier. You can also buy pre-made nurse hats and nurse accessories for cupcakes for a quick and easy DIY alternative.
Old fashioned nurse dress cake
I have to admit that the zipper on this throwback nurse’s dress is what caught my eye. Of course the needle for the shots, the stethoscope and spilled pills are also eye-caching. Check out how the scissors and pen are “actually” in the pockets. I’d give this nurse cake an A+!
Nurse graduation cake topper

Nurse themed graduation invitations – some sophisticated, some stylish and some simply fun!
First up is a sophisticated – and modern – graduation invitation in a rich cobalt blue with simple framing in thin strands of gold (other colors are available). An elegant san serif font in gold is an excellent choice to complement the design. The gold Caduceus symbol adds a symbolic touch along the border.
Let the confetti fly! Bold shades of purple and gold confetti decorate this Nursing Graduate Invitation. (I have this available in red and blue too.) I can also add matching pieces for your party (banners, plates, and napkins.) If you need the confetti colors customized for your school colors, just let me know.
Tradition meets modern; the front of the RN Graduation Invitation has a nostalgic appeal with the old-style font, swirly accents and Caduceus symbol. The back is fresh and fun with the full photo of the grad and the word “graduate” in a scripty gold font.
A dark, deep red wine color with a simple gold frame, this nurse graduation invitation is both serious and stylish.

Kristina Marie’s Graduation Party
Kristina Marie’s nurse graduation party was a big success – and she was kind enough to share some of the photos of her party. She ordered the red and gold confetti banner and we customized it to match her school colors. The party set up was stylish and fun with a cute black and gold confetti tablecloth, red and gold garland and lots of fun signs around to add to the atmosphere.
Where did they find those nurse cake pops?
Super cute ideas – and (most) are easy to DIY. The cake pops with nurse faces are so cute! If you are good with fondant and have a steady hand, these should be easy-ish for you. If you’re new to working fondant, I did find a “how to” video on making face cake pops that could be adapted for the nurse theme. The “postoperative popcorn” bags look simple to make. Also the “medicine” jars holding hearts (ju ju hearts work well) and cotton squares (marshmallows) are super easy. Just use your imagination with these jars (jelly bellies, sweet tarts, M&Ms) can easily add to the “medicinal” ambiance. The syringes here are filled with blue candy pills and of course the clogged arteries are a handful of twizzler red licorice. Easy to make – and budget friendly too.
Check out the incredible detail on this nurse cake pop! She should really have her mask on over her nose, but…she’s a cake pop, so we’ll let it slide. Click on through to creatiffcakepops to check out more of these fabulous pieces of art!
Syringes, specimen cups, stitches – what could be more perfect?
Another set of fun decorations great for a nurse graduation. We have lemonade and m&ms in specimen cups, pretzels decorated with stitches, cupcakes with nurse hats – and jello shots in party syringe shooters.
Red Mylar Heart Balloons! These really add a bright color pop to the party table. Accompanied by the cake are Band-Aids, specimen jars, party syringes, drink “blood” bags (I love how the IV tubes form little hearts) and “tic tacs” dressed up like small pills.

Rub the rim of your martini glass with lime juice and dip the sticky rim in sugar to coat lightly before serving.
Dress up your bottle caps too
These adorable graduation bottle cap toppers are so easy to make. Sara from Evermine gives you the how to: “I topped each bottle with its own graduation cap by gluing a small black square of card stock to each bottle cap and then gluing a piece of gold string to each of the cards.” She also designed the stickers for the bottles and a matching theme for the carrying tray. You can also order stickers for wine bottles, beer bottles and water bottles too!
